Examples of electronics installations
These are examples of work we can plan for your boat, rather than completed case studies.
Chartplotter and navigation upgrades
Install a suitable Raymarine Axiom or Simrad display, review transducer and instrument compatibility, and plan the onboard data network.
VHF and radar
Discuss radio and antenna positioning, radar mounting and cable routes, equipment power and integration with compatible displays.
Power information at the helm
Bring compatible Victron battery and power information onto a Raymarine Axiom screen. Read our Victron systems guide for the connection options.
Allow around two weeks for a full installation
A complete installation typically takes around two weeks of installation work. Your written quote will confirm the scope and expected schedule after we have assessed the boat. Equipment availability, access and additional work can affect this estimate. Smaller upgrades are planned individually; booking lead time is separate.

A clear view of your next upgrade
Perhaps you want a new chartplotter at the helm, a VHF installation or radar added to your existing setup. Start with what you want to achieve, and we can discuss the equipment, installation space and connections involved.
NavigationChartplotters & displays
Discuss replacing an older display or planning a new installation. Screen position, available space, power and compatibility with existing equipment are all part of the conversation.
CommunicationVHF radios & antennas
Talk through the radio, antenna arrangement and cable routes together, including how the proposed equipment will fit into your onboard communications setup.
AwarenessRadar installations
Explore a radar addition or replacement, considering the proposed scanner, mounting position, cable route and compatible display as one installation.
Raymarine, Simrad and your existing equipment
We welcome enquiries involving Raymarine and Simrad products. Share the exact makes and models you own or are considering so we can discuss what is compatible and what the work would involve.
Joined-up planning
New electronics need to fit into the boat’s electrical system as well as its layout. We consider power requirements, connections, access and intended use before agreeing the scope. If you are also planning a battery or solar upgrade, mention it at the start.
